Because of the injury to Welker, we were not fully able to gauge his season. Welker finished the year with 778 receiving yards, and ten touchdowns. The ten touchdowns were actually the most in Welker’s career, but he did not have a single game over 100 yards. He also only average 59.8 receiving yards a game, where in 2011, he averaged his career best of 98.1.
While he did not return to his beast numbers in 2011, I believe Welker exceeded most expectations when he was able to play. Anytime Peyton Manning is throwing someone the ball, you should probably consider adding him in your fantasy team.
