Hopefully this fantasy football season was good to you and you are celebrating yet another league trophy. If not, then you have more of a reason to focus on daily fantasy In Week 17!

There a few very juicy games in Week 17, and I’m pumped to get this thing rolling. Spoiler: ALL Bortles this week!

Week 17 FanDuel Quarterbacks

Blake Bortles
FanDuel: $8100
O/U: 45 JAC + 6

Not only is Blake Bortles a top five quarterback this season, but over the past four weeks, he is the 3rd-highest scoring fantasy quarterback. He’s averaging 28 Fantasy points-per-game in that span.

This week, the Jags head to Houston to play spoiler. While the matchup may not be as juicy as the one last week against the New Orleans Saints, Bortles should still be able to pick apart the Houston Texans’ secondary. That is, assuming his line gives him enough time to throw. I think the matchup and Bortles’ elevated price tag should keep his ownership relatively low, making him a good GPP option this week.

Ben Roethlisberger
FanDuel: $8800
O/U: 48 PIT – 10

Big Ben had a MISERABLE performance against the Baltimore Ravens last week, so you can all but guarantee that he comes out and throws for 300 yards and three touchdown passes at a minimum. I am going to be overweight on Ben and the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers this week against Cleveland Browns. The Steelers have one of the highest projected team totals (28.75) of the week, and you will probably see Ben and Antonio Brown’s ownership cut in half compared to last week – yes please.

I also think that Cam Newton is in a good spot this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a pretty sad performance last week. Kirk Cousins has been on fire, but I generally don’t like to target offenses playing the Dallas Cowboys. Cousins will be a fade for me this week. Matt Ryan makes for an interesting tournament option for the simple fact that Julio Jones is locked in for a monster game against the Saints. Tom Brady is always a good option, especially against a less than stellar defense of the Miami Dolphins.

Week 17 FanDuel Running Backs

James White
FanDuel: $6400
O/U: 48 NE – 10
White may not get the snaps you would like to see from your starting running back, but the fantasy production has been there even with limited touches. White was on the field for less than half of the offensive snaps last week but still managed to catch five passes and find the end zone. White is averaging over receptions per game over the last four weeks, and he has scored a touchdown in three of those games. He is reasonably priced in Week 17, which allows you to save a bit to pay up more at other positions.

Frank Gore
FanDuel: $6600
O/U: IND – 6

Gore found the end zone twice in Week 16, and it was the first time in six weeks that the veteran found pay dirt. But I can assure you, it won’t be the last. Gore has a very favorable matchup this week against the a Tennessee Titans’ defense that he gashed back in Week 3 for 86 yards and two touchdowns off of just 14 touches. It looks like Andrew Luck is unlikely to return in Week 17, which should mean more usage for Gore. Just like in Week 3, Gore shouldn’t disappoint in Week 17.

Honestly, there isn’t a whole lot of running backs that I like this week. Devonta Freeman and Todd Gurley are both good plays as always, but I don’t see myself being able to spend that much at running back this week. Danny Woodhead is always worth a look with his cheap price tag, and I feel okay about Theo Riddick against the Chicago Bears. But that’s pretty much it for me this week.

Week 17 FanDuel Wide Receivers

Julio Jones
FanDuel: $9300
O/U: 52.5 ATL – 4

Jones paid off in a big way last week if you took a chance with rostering him against Josh Norman (one of the few gambles I made that actually paid off last week). Julio has the juiciest matchup of the slate against the Saints’ elementary school “defense” and should anchor cash game lineups for Week 17. It is going to be difficult for me to look elsewhere at wide receiver this week as he is my to play.

AJ Green
FanDuel: $8400
O/U: CIN – 7

With all the top WR’s having great matchups this week between Brown, Odell Beckahm Jr., Jones, and DeAndre Hopkins, Green makes for a great pivot play. Green also has a very favorable matchup against the Ravens who rank in the bottom three in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Being that the Ravens’ defense showed up against the Steelers last week, this could also keep Green’s ownership percentage down, putting him in a great spot to target in tournaments.

Aside from the five main stud wide receivers you would normally play, I also think Demaryius Thomas is priced way too low this week. I think T.Y. Hilton makes for an interesting pivot play also against the Titans. That is basically it for me at wide receiver. I strongly suggest that you pay up at the position this week as there is not as much value as recent weeks.

Week 17 FanDuel Tight Ends

Greg Olsen
FanDuel: $6600
O/U: 47 CAR – 10

Olsen has been somewhat quiet the last few weeks, which means he is in a great spot to target him this week in a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay. With the majority of people paying up for Rob Gronkowski and Jordan Reed who has been on an absolute tear recently, this should mean that Olsen won’t be on the radar of too many players. I am going to have a ton of Olsen this week. I’m not looking back.

Travis Kelce
FanDuel: $6200
O/U: 43.5 KC – 7

The hype on Kelce clearly faded as the season went on. That being said, he had a resurgence in the last two weeks. Kelce is starting to take on more of a role in the passing attack once again, and he’s caught six passes in back-to-back weeks. Oh, and the Oakland Raiders’ defense is still really bad against tight ends.

Week 17 FanDuel D/ST

Bengals D/ST
FanDuel: $5000
O/U: CIN – 7

I expect this game to be very low scoring…well, on the Ravens side that is. Let’s face it, the Ravens’ offense is mediocre at best, and the Bengals’ defense is averaging 11.6 FanDuel PPG over its last five performances. It will be chalky, but at 5k it may be the best play on the board. You could also talk me into defense for the Washington Redskins or Dallas in Week 17, as I expect that game to be very low scoring with lots of field goals.

Top FanDuel Stacks for Week 17

Big Ben – Antonio Brown
Matt Ryan – Julio Jones
Blake Bortles – Allen Robinson

Top FanDuel Fades for Week 17

Kirk Cousins
David Johnson
Brandon Marshall
Jordan Reed
Seahawks D/ST

BOLD PREDICTION: Dan Bailey will be the highest scoring fantasy kicker in Week 17!

Best of luck to everyone playing this week!
