Fantasy Football Week 1 Results: 94 Point Strategy

What a crazy first weekend of football! If you drafted Reggie Bush, A.J. Green, Adrian Peterson, or several other stars you are feeling pretty good about yourself. There are also some guys who probably disappointed you like Calvin Johnson, but don’t go over reacting now. There is plenty of season left to stress you out!

If you haven’t seen what my 94 point strategy is you can check it out near my about me page, but here are my results heading into Sunday night for my teams I drafted with the 94 point theory.

QB Tom Brady, NE QB W 23-21 15
RB Ray Rice, Bal RB L 27-49 12
RB Stevan Ridley, NE RB W 23-21 2
RB/WR Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac RB L 2-28 4
WR Vincent Jackson, TB WR L 17-18 15
WR Marques Colston, NO WR  P W 23-17 12
TE Kyle Rudolph, Min TE L 24-34 2
LB DeMarcus Ware, Dal LB, DE 3-0 13:04 1st 2
DL Chris Long, StL DE W 27-24 3
DB Cortland Finnegan, StL CB W 27-24 7
D/ST Buccaneers D/ST D/ST L 17-18 9
K Sebastian Janikowski, Oak K  P L 17-21 4
87 Total Points: Currently winning 87-85. Stevan Ridley fumbling the ball kind of screwed me, and MJD and Tom Brady were disappointing for their season openers. My receivers played strong, but my opponent has 85 points and still has De’Sean Jackson and Alfred Morris, so I am going start the season 0-1 for this team.
QB Andrew Luck, Ind QB W 21-17 24
RB Adrian Peterson, Min RB L 24-34 28
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac RB L 2-28 4
WR Steve Smith, Car WR L 7-12 11
WR Tavon Austin, StL WR W 27-24 4
TE Jimmy Graham, NO TE W 23-17 10
FLEX DeMarco Murray, Dal RB » 3-0 11:33 1st 0
D/ST Rams D/ST D/ST W 27-24 7
K Steven Hauschka, Sea K W 12-7 7
95 TOTAL POINTS: I am currently tied 95-95 with my opponent. I still have DeMarco Murray and he has Victor Cruz. I like Cruz a little better here, but hopefully he can be held in check and Murray can get some cheap touchdowns.
QB Tony Romo, Dal QB 3-0 10:14 1st 0
RB C.J. Spiller, Buf RB L 21-23 3
RB Alfred Morris, Wsh RB Mon 6:55
WR Vincent Jackson, TB WR L 17-18 15
WR Tavon Austin, StL WR W 27-24 4
TE Jared Cook, StL TE W 27-24 24
FLEX Darren Sproles, NO RB W 23-17 10
D/ST Packers D/ST D/ST L 28-34 -4
K Dan Bailey, Dal K 3-0 10:14 1st 3
55 Total Points: I still have a couple of players, but my team had a pretty poor performance overall. I am projected to loose this game 95-117.
So as of right now it looks like I am going to start off with at least two losses, possibly three. Obviously no one wants to start off like this, but I have 12 more games before the playoffs. I still think my teams are strong and I have some elite players, so it will just require some time and patience to see how things will go with this strategy.
