Chargers- playing Jacksonville.
Rams- The Rams defense have seen a drop off in ownership, and are currently owned in less than 80% of ESPN standard leagues. They have put up strong numbers against the Jaguars and Houston, and the Panthers are currently ranked 27th in passing yards. The Rams D is ranked 18th against the pass, so the numbers should add up to a decent fantasy day for the Rams if they are available in your league.
Bills- The Bills are averaging two turnovers per game, and the Ryan Tannehill is known to cough up the ball when facing extreme pressure. This defense gives up a ton of points, but this may be the week you can start them if you need a fill in for defense.
Falcons- Mike Glennon put out a decent performance, but I like any defense that is going to face him this year. Atlanta does have the 6th best rushing defense, so they should be able to shut Doug Martin down and force Glennon to throw. Vincent Jackson will probably make a few appearances with the ball in the Falcon’s end zone, but this might be a fill in that pays off with a pick six. Or 2.
Steelers- Although the Steelers haven’t faced any offensive powerhouses in the passing game( Titans, Bengals, Bears, Vikings, and Jets), they are ranked 4th against the pass and Baltimore is really struggling. This should be a low scoring game, and the Steelers defense is currently owned in less than 80% of leagues.
