With the Bears owned in over 91% of ESPN standard leagues, the Texans owned in over 82%, and the Ravens owned in over 60% of leagues, many people will be looking for some bye week fillers for Week 8. While there aren’t a ton of options, there are some defenses that can fill the avoid for the week.
Saints- New Orleans has the 9th best pass defense and C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both battling injuries. Thad Lewis has been playing unspectacular but solid, so if Drew Brees and the offense can get ahead early the Bills will be forced to pass and mistakes will likely follow.
Eagles- In their last matchup with the Giants, the Eagles scored 9 fantasy points, which for a bye week fill in, that is all you are hoping for. They have scored 10 points against Washington, and 7 points against Dallas, so they tend to put up a steady score against divisional rivals.
Raiders- The Raiders have scored a defensive touchdown in the past two out of three games, and they are 16th against the pass and 10th against the run. Another decent bye week fill.
