2015 Fantasy Football: Over/Under Monday

The Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons are going to light up a few Fantasy Football scoreboards tonight.

Depending on where you look, the spread for this game is at as high as 56 points. That basically means that Vegas is putting out a bet on whether the Eagles and Falcons will combine for less than 56 points or more than 56 points. Fantasy Football player should look at Vegas lines as part of their research. While it’s mainly used for DFS sites like DraftKings, these types of projections help to give you an idea of the potential floor and ceiling of certain players.

For this game, I’m going with the over. I think Chip Kelly is going to unleash his genius all over Atlanta and jump out to a quick lead. I could see the Eagles scoring 24 points by halftime. I’m not huge on any players on Atlanta for Fantasy outside of Julio Jones, and with Roddy White still recovering from elbow surgery, Matt Ryan will continue to lean heavily on Julio Jones.

Jones went nuts in racking up receiving yards between Weeks 14-16 and pushed a lot of teams toward a Fantasy championship.

He will need to have another big performance tonight to keep Atlanta in the game. The Over is going to be easily covered.

Sam Bradford and Jordan Matthews stacks should be well rewarded tonight. A sneaky play for PPR leagues is Darren Sproles, as Kelly has continuously talked about getting him involved more in 2015.

This should be the most exciting game of the Week, and Philadelphia will start the season 1-0.
