The 36-year old veteran was a top-10 wide receiver in most Fantasy leagues heading into Week 4, but now his playing time is in jeopardy. Reports suggest Smith Sr. may be able to play through they injury, but the Baltimore Ravens essentially have to wait and see how much he can handle.
This is devastating for the Ravens, who also lost Michael Campanaro. Rookie Breshad Perriman is no where near ready to return.
Baltimore signed Chris Givens, formerly of the St. Louis Rams, on Oct. 3.
Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken will now need to accept expanded roles. Brown has recorded two receptions in every game thus far this season.
