DraftKings Week 6 Lineups

Do you need help with your Week 6 DraftKings lineups? I’ve got you covered.

I’ll take a look at the players to own and the players to fade for each position. Plus, I’ll provide my top stacks for Week 6.

DraftKings Week 6 Quarterbacks

Phillip Rivers $6300
O/U 50.5 SD + 10.5
Expected Ownership: 6.1%

Everyone likes the Green Bay Packers’ players in this game for obvious reasons, but I am surprised that there is very little buzz about any Sn Diego Charger’s players aside from Antonio Gates coming off the big game in his return.

Let’s not forget that the Chargers have a team total of 20 in this game and I believe that to be modest. The Chargers only have two rushing touchdowns on the season and both are from Danny Woodhead, so you can expect them to continue to attack defenses through the air.

I like Rivers in this spot playing from behind and throwing to keep up with Aaron Rodgers. Rivers is also coming off back-to-back 350+ yard games. For his price, it’s hard to look elsewhere this week.

Sam Bradford $6000
O/U 49.5 PHI – 5.5
Expected Ownership: 7.5%

I am not going to say that I definitely think Bradford has completely put it together yet. But, it’s hard not to love this spot for him on Monday Night Football.

He is coming back-to-back 20+ fantasy point performances and has another favorable matchup against the New YorkGiants this week.

The Philadelphia Eagles are at home this week. Bradford’s price is hard to argue with at only $6000. I do not fully trust him in cash, but he makes for a great GPP play.

Aside from Rivers and Bradford, I am going to have some shares of Tom Brady (along with the majority of fantasy players), Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Blake Bortles, and you could even talk me into Brian Hoyer at $5100. There are so many good QB matchups this week that you could pretty much play anyone aside from Newton, Wilson, and Bridgewater.

DraftKings Week 6 Running Backs

Arian Foster $7000
O/U 43.5 JAC – 1
Expected Ownership: 14.5%

Foster is back! Even though he still didn’t look 100% last in his 2015 debut, he still racked up nine catches on his way to a 20-point fantasy performance on DraftKings.

I think the Houston Texans will make it a point to feed Foster this week against a porous Jacksonville Jaguars’ run defense that Doug Martin ripped apart last week for 123 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

The Texans have also been running one of the fastest paced offenses so far this season, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see six to eight dump off passes to Foster like last week. He is a must play in cash this week and a great tournament play as well.

DeMarco Murray $6000
O/U 49.5 PHI – 5.5
Expected Ownership: 7.2%

I like Murray in Week 6 for the same reasons that I like Bradford.

I think this MNF game is going to be high scoring with the Eagles putting points on the board and controlling the pace. I expect Murray to be a big part of that, especially with Ryan Mathews likely to be sidelined.

Murray is coming off a big game against the New Orleans Saints last week, but because of the terrible start to the season, he is still being somewhat overlooked on DraftKings.

With the majority of players being on Dion Lewis/LeGarrette Blount this week, I think this is a great position to pay up at running back this week with Foster, Le’Veon Bell, Adrian Peterson, and Murray.

I also think Giovani Bernard is an interesting play this week for $4600 against the Buffalo Bills. It is clear that you cannot ground and pound against the Bills’ defense, so I would expect Gio to out snap Jeremy Hill once again and be heavily involved in the passing game this week.

I also think that C.J. Anderson could make for an interesting tournament play for the simple fact that nobody will be on him and the Cleveland Browns’ run defense is very bad. I am still not sure I actually have the stones to make that play though…we’ll see.

DraftKings Week 6 Wide Receivers

Calvin Johnson $7300
O/U 44 DET – 3
Expected Ownership: 12.8%

Johnson has simply not been Megatron yet this season… He has failed to surpass 100 yards in a single game and has only found the end zone just once through Weeks 1-5. That being said, he has faced some pretty tough matchups so far this season and now seems to be in a great spot against the weak Chicago Bears’ secondary. He is averaging 12 targets through the last four weeks and I think we see plenty of Megatron on Sunday.

Dwayne Harris $3100
O/U 49.5 NYG + 5.5
Expected Ownership: 4.5%

Harris has seen 14 targets in his last two games and at close to minimum price, you can’t ignore that.

Even if Odell Beckham Jr. plays in Week 6, it looks like the hamstring will keep him limited and with Rueben Randle banged up, Eli Manning will need some help from Harris to attack the Eagles’ secondary.

This is simply a case where he is getting too many targets for his price and that makes him almost an automatic play for me in tournaments, especially if Beckham and/or Randle can’t go on Monday night.

Much like the quarterback position, I like a ton of wide receivers this week too. I will have some decent exposure to Larry Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall, Jarvis Landry, and Allen Robinson.

I think Marquess Wilson ($4000) makes for a great play if Alshon misses again. Don’t forget Eddie Royal and Martellus Bennett are questionable as well, so be sure to check the Bears pass catcher’s status on Sunday morning before lineups lock!

DraftKings Week 6 Tight Ends

I honestly don’t feel like there are too many options at the tight end position in Week 6. It basically just comes down to are you playing Rob Gronkowski or Gates. I love them both this week for obvious reasons. Aside from Gronk and Gates, I think Richard Rodgers ($3100) makes for an interesting GPP play.

DraftKings Week 6 Top Stacks

Brady – Edelman/Gronk
Rivers – Allen/Gates
Stafford – Calvin (GPP)
Bradford – Matthews (GPP)
Palmer – Larry Fitz

DraftKings Week 6 Top Fades

Cam Newton
Dion Lewis
Antonio Brown
Gary Barnidge
Bills D/ST

BOLD PREDICTION: Calvin Johnson will be a top five fantasy wide receiver this week!!!
