On Oct. 29, Jerick McKinnon was officially ruled out for Week 8. He won’t play in a juicy Fantasy Football matchup against the Chicago Bears.
This is particularity disappointing news for McKinnon owners, as the defense for the Bears has allowed an average of 24 points per game from Weeks 5-7.

McKinnon being out obviously makes Matt Asiata a much more appealing play.
Asiata has been effective with his carries, but being in a committee limits his chances for Fantasy success.
Week | Carries | Rushing Yards | Touchdowns |
5 | 14 | 55 | 1 |
7 | 12 | 55 | 0 |
Asiata was on the field for 75% of the offensive snaps in Week 7, and he could be on the field for even more plays with McKinnon out.
Vegas projects the Minnesota Vikings will win this game by as much as six points. That means if the Vikings jump out to an early lead, Minnesota may just lean on Asiata to run out the clock.
