DraftKings 2015 NFL Week 5 Lineup

By Johnny G, 3 Jack Almanac

It is hard to believe there are four games under the belt already in the 2015 NFL season. Who would have thought the Atlanta Falcons would still be undefeated? Or that the New York Jets are an impressive 3-1!

That brings us to another installment of the DraftKings NFL plays of the week.

There are some patterns showing up across the contests and now that I have some more stats under my belt, the picks are going to come even easier. At least,in theory.

Daily fantasy sports can go through some ups and downs. Patience is the key. Never chase a bad week.

Now, let’s get to the picks!

QB- Tom Brady – NE – $7800

Brady has been on a tear this season, and the Patriots have an axe to grind. Do not expect them to let up at all. Going up against a wounded Dallas Cowboy’s defense, expect the Patriots to come fully rested and score 30 points in this one.Brady’s averaging 370.7 passing yards per game with nine touchdowns and zero interceptions.

RB- Ronnie Hillman – Denver – $4900
Does CJ Anderson look like a #1 back to you? Me neither. Maybe this is the game Hillman establishes himself as the top back. At just $4900, you need to take a risk here and play him.

RB- Doug Martin – TB – $4700

Just a few years ago, people were drafting him in Round 1 of their fantasy football leagues. Long gone are those days, but he has actually been running the ball very well this year. I expect a near 100-yard day and a TD in this winnable game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Martin averaged 5.3 YPC against the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. He’s currently recording an average of 70.5 rushing yards per game.

Sleepers- Martavis Bryant – WR – Pittsburgh – $3800
He has been suspended until now and this big play maker is what the Pittsburgh Steelers need to open up the offense without Ben Roethlisberger under center. The Steelers limited Michael Vicks’ passing attempts because he is no Big Ben, but Bryant doesn’t need to catch a lot of passes to offer fantasy production. He scored eight touchdowns in just 10 games last season.
